Monday May 29, 2023
Monday May 29, 2023
I recently had a mom reach out to me with some thoughts and an excellent question that I think is important for us to take a few minutes to think through and then, as always, go to the scriptures for our direction.
Are we gossiping about our kids when we talk negatively about them?

I’m really excited to share our family’s favorite high school science resource!
Science is not my forte, so high school science felt particularly intimidating to me. The 101 Series was an absolute life-saver! It was thorough without being overwhelming and was something our high schoolers could do pretty much completely on their own!

What I Have Learned About Autism So Far (Podcast 418)
Monday May 22, 2023
Monday May 22, 2023
Many of you know that our youngest son was diagnosed with Autism last fall. I knew since he was very young that he was likely on the spectrum, but he continued to progress in his development so we never had him evaluated. Some significant changes happened in him about a year ago which led us to finally seek a diagnosis.
Today I am sharing our journey with you along with some things I have learned over the last year that you may find helpful if you have a child that may be on the spectrum, have one on the spectrum, or know someone with a child on the spectrum, or want to learn more so you can have a better understanding.

Please note that the products and links to health products I have mentioned in the podcast and here are simply things that have helped us. Each of you must decide for yourselves if these are a good fit for you or your child. Also, I receive no money for sharing them.

Finding Biblical Clarity in a Secular Culture (Podcast 416)
Monday May 15, 2023
Monday May 15, 2023
As mainstream culture grows more hostile toward the Bible’s truths and those who embrace them, Christians will face mounting pressures from family, friends, media, academia, and government to change and even abandon their beliefs. However, these challenges also create abundant opportunities to stand strong for Christ and shine a light to those hurt by the darkness of our day.

Friday May 12, 2023
Friday May 12, 2023
Today I want to talk about some of the reasons that motherhood can be hard because we all agree that it CAN be hard. However, as believers, we divert from the culture’s thinking when we drill down on WHY it can be hard and we use God’s word to find the answers.
